KGL Contest 10th Anniversary – Reward Scheme for Schools

To celebrate ten years of the KGL Contest English Olympiad, we’re introducing a new Reward Scheme for Schools. It opens more pathways for students to progress from Discovery (Stage 1) to the National Finals (Stage 2) — while continuing to reward academic excellence.

Three Pathways to the National Finals

1️⃣ Merit Qualification

Top 10% of performers nationwide qualify automatically — recognising individual excellence.

2️⃣ School Guaranteed Places

Each school receives a minimum number of guaranteed finalist places based on entries.

3️⃣ Rescue Cards

Additional opportunities for outstanding students who narrowly miss the cutoff.
